Extreme Sports

The Serpentine Jarrahdale Community Recreation Centre contains Western Australia's newest indoor rock climbing wall. The eight metre high wall is designed to offer fun and challenges for climbers of all abilities and all ages. You'll find everything from easy slopes for beginners, to over-hangs for the more advanced climber.

FACILITIES:

 

The Rickety Ladder is a wobbly, rustic looking, wooden slat ladder with rope handlines that moves as you climb.

The Caterpillar involves climbing a series of five chained sections of 100mm x 100mm treated pine timber up a series of U-staples that spiral their way up the wood.

The Dangling Duo is an 8 metres high team-building climbing obstacle that is tackled by two people at a time. The pair needs to cooperate and support each other to climb as high as they can. The structure is quite wobbly and becomes increasingly more difficult as each of the five poles become 20cm further apart as you go up.
