Kids and Youth
 The YMCA Serpentine Jarrahdale Community Recreation Centre offers a great range of programs and activities for children and youth to participate in. The YMCA provides an environment for children to learn through play, to solve problems, get along with others, and grow in confidence. Participation in YMCA programs creates experiences, memories and friendships that last a life time.

Is your child's program a not for profit community program?
Current research shows improved outcomes are attained when children attend not for profit, community childcare.
YMCA children's programs and services are all not for profit community programs, including school holiday programs, after school care, term programs, youth activities and crèche.
We offer a crèche for your little ones to play and socialise in, whilst you enjoy a workout or one of our program classes. Parents need to remain on the premises for the entire time that their child is in the crèche, so you can also enjoy a catch up with friends and a coffee in the café before collecting your little one! Our fully licensed Vacation Care program is also a favourite with kids and adults alike! We take the children on a great range of excursions including trips to the cinema’s, bowling, roller skating, Scitech, Indoor Play stations plus lots more! Also unlike many other Vacation Care services, as our home room is in the recreation centre the children have access to all the great facilities that the centre has to offer. The YMCA recognises that some families need professional, qualified and caring staff to collect their children from school when they can’t. Our licensed After School Care service collects from local primary schools and offers your children the chance to enjoy sporting, recreational and craft activities in a safe and secure environment.
