Indoor rock climbing is a great way to introduce total beginners of all ages to the thrills of climbing in a controlled environment. We can teach you how to belay (hold and control the rope) for your partner safely in a few minutes at the beginning of your first visit. Please note that children under 12 are not allowed to belay and therefore must be accompanied by an adult to climb. The introductory lesson is free with your entry charge. Once you are competent at belaying you can climb or attempt to climb any of the many different routes in the extreme sports arena.
PLUS there are no time limits! We charge you for entry and harness hire but after that stay for as long as you like. Want to leave and come back? No problem, providing you come back the same day as there is no further charge!
Rock climbing is an exciting Adventure Activity that challenges participants physically and mentally. Requiring more flexibility and balance than brute strength, climbing is a sport for everyone. Rock climbing is an excellent activity for all ages and levels of ability. It allows participants to set and develop personal goals, challenge themselves and overcome their fears. There is also a special bond between climber and belayer(s),that demands trust, communication, and responsibility. The Rock Climbing Arena is a great place for birthday parties, social groups, corporate groups and others to do something a bit different and a great alternative to weights or aerobics for those wanting a challenging work out.

Suitable Clothing for Climbing
- Loose fitting clothing and tight fitting joggers are ideal.
- Thongs are not suitable footwear.
- All jewellery removed.
- Wear a longer top or tee shirt.
- Bare midriff tops are not suitable.
- Skirts & Dresses are not suitable.
